The Kraken Underground is a movie, games, and events club for Penderites.
Most events hosted by us in our space, are free or by donation, all events require an RSVP as space is limited.
We also coordinate and host events around Pender. If you are looking to host an event in our basement space, or want us to coordinate an event (murder mystery, outdoor movie night?) for you, drop us an email!
Club members receive invites to upcoming events.
If you reside on Pender Island, you can click here to become a Club Member, once you have registered you will receive emails with event details.
Put your phone away for a few hours and come make something.
We’ll have a selection of easy, low-pressure art projects set up for you to choose from, including:
Paint-by-number
Painting on wood
Paint-your-own magnets
various designs and themes, or start from blank
Pick whatever appeals to you, sit down and give it a go.
Absolutely no experience required. This isn’t an art class and there’s no expectation that you know what you’re doing. The entire point is to spend a casual afternoon trying something new, making something with your hands and seeing what happens.
All supplies, coffee, and tea are included in the $22 admission.
Join us for our first ever Full Moon Market! The market will have all things witchy, mystical, slightly strange and Halloween-adjacent, with a mix of art and handmade goods alongside tarot readings, numerology reports, crystals, curiosities and other wonderfully unusual things!
In the Bistro at Browning, 11-3, Sunday October 25, free to attend.
